Pastry Chef Rosalind MacLean Rosalind's desserts by design was founded in 1999. With 25 years of experience, including 6 years in France and 13 years at Araxi restaurant in Whistler BC, pastry chef Rosalind MacLean prides herself in making unique one of a kind desserts and pastries not found anywhere else in Whistler.

Rosalind creates these unique desserts and pastries by using only the highest quality and freshest ingredients. Each cake is designed to suite your needs and taste, and will leave a lasting impression.

Wedding Cakes

Each wedding cake is designed to suit your own personal needs and taste, and can reflect your wedding theme. Rosalind can set up a meeting with you where you can do some tasting and design your cake. Wedding cakes can be as simple as one to three tier wedding cake decorated with baby roses or as elaborate as four to five tier wedding cakes with hand-made pastiage flowers.

Cake options are Lemon, Vanilla, Chocolate, or another flavour of your choice. Filling options include; lemon curd, espresso mousse, white chocolate mousse, fresh berries when in season and chocolate ganache. Cakes can be decorated with a silky butter cream, chocolate ganache, mascarpone cream or with the more modern rolled fondant.

Christmas, Valentines, Easter and Anniversary specialties. Check out our signature and specialty cakes or birthday or anniversary cakes for past creations crafted by Rosalind.

Hand made chocolate truffles, chocolate biscotti, decadent brownies, almond short bread, triple chocolate cookies, chocolate nut bark, Chocolate dipped strawberries are some of the examples you can have, or you can design as you wish.
